Through workshops, projects, and initiatives, Care Lab brings people together to create reflect, and explore care. What We Do
Care Lab is an interdisciplinary space for exploring care through creativity, reflection, and collaboration. Our work includes hands-on workshops (led virtually or in person by founding members of the Care Lab Collective), community-based initiatives, and creative projects that cross the boundaries of art, humanities, health, and science. Each opportunity to participate that we share here is designed to spark curiosity and deepen our collective understanding of how care is experienced, represented, and reimagined.
We are not currently set up to receive donations, but we hope to add that option soon to provide art materials, sponsor community workshops, and sustain this virtual space where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to explore creative expressions of care.

How to Join Us
The Care Lab Collective is a growing network of scholars, artists, healthcare providers, students, and community members who are committed to participating in and expanding conversations about care. Anyone who wants to is welcome to be a part of the Collective by joining one or more Care Lab conversations. This can happen through contributing to a project, taking up an initiative, or participating in a workshop.
Your participation and support make the work of Care Lab possible. Whether you contribute art, ideas, or other resources, you help us reimagine what care can mean.
The Care Lab Collective believes care is not only a personal experience but also a social practice that shapes communities, institutions, and systems. We believe that by experimenting with creative forms—drawing, storytelling, conversation, and more—we open new possibilities for empathy, resilience, and connection.
